It's back to school time again. With it comes new beauty trends. For young women going back to school, there are many different trends to wear and try. Here are some of the makeup trends for this fall.

Red Lips

Bright colors have been in vogue since the beginning of the year and into the fall. Red lipsticks are popular and there are many shades to choose from; for young women in their teens, sheer reds are a good choice to avoid looking "overly made up.

Bright and bold colors

Bright eyes are popular. When looking for shadows, your daughter will find a variety of bold and attractive shades. Bright blues and greens are some of the beautiful colors that your daughter will notice at the makeup store.

Tropical Eyes

This is a trend that is being enjoyed by young ladies of school age. The colors yellow, green and blue are used to create a fun eye look for the end of summer. Your daughter will enjoy this fun sunny look.

Strong Eyebrows

Boldness is back, and eyebrows are no exception. For your daughter who is new to make-up, choose a color that is a little darker than her natural shade or the same color as her natural eyebrows. Even just filling in the empty spaces with an eyebrow pencil in a natural shade can give her the bold look she is going for.

Contouring

We parents may be wishing this trend would go away, or we may be using it ourselves. Either way, contouring is here to stay. Younger women or those who are new to make-up should not take this approach. If your daughter is interested in trying this method, encourage her to watch lots of videos and try it out at home many times before going out in public. In addition, you can give them the opportunity to attend a class where they can learn the technique professionally.

Exaggerated Lashes

This fall, lashes are hot. For girls who want to update their current style, use a black, longer mascara to fill in both the upper and lower lashes. If you're really brave, you can even draw your lashes onto your skin.

Don't overdo it

There are a lot of bold looks this fall, but be careful not to "overdo it." If your daughter is going to use bold colors on her eyelids, you don't want to wear exaggerated eyelashes at the same time. Also, if she is going to have bright red lips, she should choose a neutral eyeshadow. Teach them how to balance.
